The Aluminum Foil Glass Cloth Facing consists of a laminated composite material that combines layers of aluminum foil and glass cloth . This combination enhances the thermal performance and durability of insulation systems. The aluminum foil layer serves as a reflective surface , which improves thermal performance by reflecting radiant heat. Additionally, it is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and has good barrier properties against moisture and gases. Glass Cloth significantly strengthens the facing, making it resistant to tearing, punctures, and stretching, even at high temperatures. Moreover, Fiberglass can withstand very high temperatures without degrading, making it suitable for high-temperature applications. Furthermore, Fiberglass is inherently fire-resistant, which contributes to the overall fire safety of the facing.
This laminated insulation facing consists of 18u aluminum foil, 8×8 mesh/cm glass cloth as well as heat-activated polyethylene on its back. It is a premium grade heat-sealing aluminum glass cloth facing, tough, durable and no need applying extra adhesive. The material provides a cost-effective solution for thermal insulation and moisture control, reducing the need for additional protective layers. It can be produced according to heavier thickness glass cloth or special weave pattern glass cloth request.
1. HVAC Systems: Aluminum foil facing is commonly used in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems as a facing material for thermal insulation to improve energy efficiency and temperature control.
2. Ductwork Insulation: The facing material is applied to the insulation of ductwork in buildings to enhance thermal performance, reduce heat loss or gain, and provide protection against moisture and fire hazards.
3. Building and Construction: Utilized in walls, roofs, and floors as part of insulation systems to enhance energy efficiency and thermal comfort in buildings.
4. Industrial Applications: The facing material is utilized in various industrial applications where thermal insulation with heat reflection, moisture resistance, and fire protection is required, such as in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and clean rooms.
